Ultrafiltration
Ultrafiltration (UF) technology removes suspended or dissolved solids, which have different molecular weights and sizes, respectively, from water or other liquids. This process is easy to operate and without the use of chemical additives and with very low energy usage. Although ionics and solids with a low molecular weight can pass through the membrane, our ultrafiltration membrane removes particles of less than 0.001 micron, eliminates organic solids and reduces the SDI down to <3
Ultrafiltration (UF) – has gained steadily increasing importance for the treatment of surface water over the last years. UF systems are used in the following applications:
- Treatment of surface, ground and well water into drinking water and process water
- Treatment of waste water into “grey” or process water
- Pre-treatment for desalination plants
